Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026 · Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains what PixPick AI collects, why, and how it is protected. It covers two products that work differently, so each has its own section:

By using PixPick you agree to this policy.

Desktop app and website

Your photos stay on your computer

PixPick analyses photos entirely on your own computer. Photos, thumbnails, file names and EXIF data are never uploaded to our servers. The only thing the app reports about an analysis is how many photos it processed, which we need to run the trial and membership.

What we collect

How we use it

Storage and security

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service (payment and email, as above), or when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can view and change your profile in your account at any time. To get a copy of your data or delete your account and its data, email support@pixpickai.com. We reply within 15 working days.

Children

The desktop app and website are not intended for children under 14. Minors should use it with a parent or guardian's consent.

When this policy changes we will update this page and the dates above.

PixPick iPhone app

Effective date: October 20, 2026 · Last updated: October 20, 2026

The PixPick iPhone app analyses the quality of your photos (sharpness, exposure, composition, facial expressions and more) locally and offline on your iPhone, to help you pick your best shots and find the rejects. This section explains how the app handles your information.

Photos: processed only on your phone

The app asks for read and write access to your photo library for three things, all done on your iPhone:

Information sent to our server (only when you use these features)

Signing in is optional. Every feature, including the trial and subscriptions, works without an account. The app sends information to our server (ios-api.pixpickai.com, always over HTTPS) only in these cases:

WhenWhat we collectWhy
Sign in with Apple The user identifier provided by Apple; your name (only the first time you authorise); your email address (if you choose Hide My Email, we receive Apple's relay address instead); the device model name, such as "iPhone" (not a device identifier) To create and recognise your account, and to list signed-in devices in your account
Buying or restoring a subscription The transaction record signed by Apple (product, purchase date, expiry date, transaction ID); if you are signed in, it is linked to your account To confirm your subscription status, link it to your account and handle support requests

The information above (name, email address, user ID and purchase history) is linked to your account, used only for app functionality, and never used for tracking.

What we don't do

Your rights

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (under 14 in mainland China), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

When this section changes we will update the dates above. We will notify you in the app of any significant changes.
