This policy explains what PixPick AI (the desktop app and pixpickai.com, "PixPick") collects, why, and how it is protected. By using PixPick you agree to this policy.

Your photos stay on your computer

PixPick analyses photos entirely on your own computer. Photos, thumbnails, file names and EXIF data are never uploaded to our servers. The only thing the app reports about an analysis is how many photos it processed, which we need to run the trial and membership.

What we collect

• Account: email address, nickname and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash.
• Devices: a device label such as "Windows-Desktop-PixPick-v2.0.0" and when it was last active, so we can enforce the device limit and let you sign out other devices.
• Usage counts: the number of photos in each analysis run and when it ran. No photo content.
• Orders: order number, plan, amount and payment status. Payments are handled by the payment provider (currently WeChat Pay); we never see or store your card or bank details.
• Feedback: what you write in the feedback form, the contact details you choose to leave, and the app version and operating system.
• Website: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and remembers your language. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To sign you in, run your trial and membership, and show your orders and devices in your account.
• To send service emails (verification, password reset, membership notices) through Alibaba Cloud DirectMail.
• To understand overall usage in aggregate and decide what to improve.

Storage and security

• Data is stored on servers in mainland China and transmitted over HTTPS.
• Only staff who need it to provide the service can access it.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the providers needed to run the service (payment and email, as above), or when the law requires it.

Your rights

You can view and change your profile in your account at any time. To get a copy of your data or delete your account and its data, email support@pixpickai.com. We reply within 15 working days.

Children

PixPick is not intended for children under 14. Minors should use it with a parent or guardian's consent.

When this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
