Changelog
What is new, improved and fixed in every PixPick release.
-
v2.0.4
Latest- New Select multiple photos on the results page to mark them as picks, rejects or another category, or set star ratings in bulk.
- New Delete original files from disk on the results page (bypasses the system trash; confirmation required).
- New Restore or permanently delete selected items in the trash in one go.
- Improved "Start smart culling" no longer freezes the window; folder scanning now runs in the background.
- Fixed The full-size preview closing immediately after a quick double-click on a thumbnail.
-
v2.0.3
- Improved More accurate similar-photo grouping: bursts are split by capture time and compared by content, so handheld night shots and tracking portraits group correctly; RAW + JPG pairs count as one shot.
- New Browse similar photos by group on the results page, with keepers first and "Set as keeper" on hover.
- Fixed "Keep N per group" now actually takes effect: extra shots go to "Similar", no longer count as picks, and are left out of exports by default.
- Fixed The "Similar" counter at the top always showing 0.
-
v2.0.2
- Improved Blur detection now focuses on the eyes, so missed focus on portraits is caught reliably.
- Improved Retrained aesthetic model whose scores better match a photographer's taste.
- Improved Only overexposed shots are rejected; underexposed ones are kept for post-processing.
- Improved Faster preview decoding for large RAW files, about 7× faster for Fujifilm RAF.
- Improved Noticeably smaller installer.
- Fixed Shooting info not being read from Fujifilm, Sony and Nikon RAW files.
- Fixed Closed-eye detection being inverted, so closed eyes were not flagged correctly.
